Rachel Veltri

This spunky Chicago native is probably best known for her hit reality show, “For Love or Money” on NBC, where she shockingly turned down one million dollars for one of her 16 suitors on the show. Rachel’s outgoing, witty, “tell it how it is” personality got the attention of her viewers and created a celebrity status for her since the show.

Since then, Rachel has been quite busy in Hollywood. She quit her occupation as a flight attendant shortly after the show aired last summer and decided to move out to Los Angeles. Although Hollywood was not quick to welcome a “reality star” into the acting world, Rachel was determined to create a name for herself. She quickly found a manager, an agent, began taking acting classes, and studying with an excellent acting coach. Rachel’s prior commercial acting background helped her transition smoothly to Los Angeles’ competitive, fast-paced acting industry. Soon after arriving, Rachel booked a supporting role in “American Pie: Band Camp,” which is the fourth in the series to be released. She played Dani, a college girl working as a camp counselor who has a summer fling with one of the band kids.

Then came an offer from Playboy to appear in a celebrity pictorial. Because of her conservative upbringing Rachel initially refused to appear and then, after careful consideration, she consented. Rachel often jokes that posing for Playboy was the best decision she has made since giving up the million dollars on “For Love or Money.” It turned out to be an amazing experience, which she would do again if ever given the opportunity. The issue is scheduled to be on newsstands, along with the release of "American Pie: Band Camp," in December of this year.

A few months later, after further study of acting, Rachel booked her next film, “Pray for Morning.” In this independent horror-thriller she played, Bunny, the sexy high school vixen. Rachel loved this character and working on this film because she was able to showcase her wide range of emotions from playfulness to shear terror.

Rachel Veltri is driven, talented, and definitely has that “special something.” It is these characteristics that make the sky the limit for Rachel. We look forward to seeing what’s next for this rising young star.
